Apex was once a booming mining town during the gold rush, but today all that is left are a few buildings including the "Hotel" and a barn. Apex is a famous Colorado Ghost Town, complete with ancient signs and a fair share of bumps in the night. Unfortunately there was a fire that engulfed the old town leaving only those two buildings standing. Even though it isn't what it once was, Apex is a great town to explore today!
